Mt. Matutum is located in the province of South Cotabato and is also famous for its civet coffee. The civet cats called by the Blaan coffee farmers as Balos are free to roam in the wild and naturally feed on the ripe coffee cherries. Mount Matutum is an active volcano, approximately 5.7 kilometers from Acmonan, Tupi, South Cotabato, Philippines.

Sure, mt. Matutum coffee is a great tasting coffee, but buying one supports the economic and cultural sustainability of the indigenous Blaan communities who also serve as forest guardians.

Mount Matutum coffee beans are sourced from Greentropics Coffee Enterprise and or Matutum Coffee Producers Association (MCPA). In the 2019 PCQC competition, their beans are top 9 with a specialty coffee score of 83.93 with flavor notes of toffee, sugar, and dried fruits.
